Lovely CL !

Harome Fields
A lovely CL nestled in the beautiful little village of Harome. Very near are two nice smart pubs both having a restaurant and gardens. The CL has level grass pitches with great views and delightful owners. There is a lovely round walk along the river and back through the village (a leisurely 45 mins). It is about 3 miles from Helmsley and 3 miles from the NT Nunnington Hall. Both are well worth a visit! Thank you to Beatrice for making us welcome. Best regards Cath and Paul Dawson

What a gem, an incredibly well kept site, excellent information with a board to indicate your pitch no. on arrival, well spaced and large pitches. A very welcoming host, making a daily visit to check there was no other needs. Excellent location to be able to visit North Yorkshire, with Helmsley only 3 miles away with excellent pubs, restaurants and shops.

Peaceful

Harome Fields
What a lovely site. Easy arrival, pitches on list on gate, owner lovely and visited every day to check everything was fine. Beautiful site, rabbits playing and birds swooping over the field in front. Stunningly beautiful village with few facilities, 2.8 miles to Helmsley which has everything. Lots of foodie shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, lots of places to visit. We tried the stunning Rievaulx abbey, and the beautiful walled garden, both of which are perfect for picnics. Plenty of activities left for next time. Very friendly town. Quit cycle/walk from village.

Wonderful!

Harome Fields
Just got back from 4 nights here. Just perfect! Lovely large pitches with glorious views over the rolling meadows. Grass very well cut, each pitch has own rubbish bin and recycling available at entrance to site. The chemical disposal/grey water is top class and obviously only recently installed, impressive! Mrs Marwood was very friendly and extremely helpful, calling each evening to see everyone, but not in an obtrusive way.... The peace and quiet is paramount. One little negative and nothing at all to do with the site, took our dog out early one morning (7.30am) along the roads from Harome and met head on by the local 'hunt' exercising a pack of about 50 hounds that were all over the road. All approached our nervous rescue collie, she was hysterical, screaming and thrashing about as she's frightened of other dogs, No one did anything to try call them off or apologise for the distress caused! A fabulous break and will return soon.. thank you!
