A great find!

Bank Head Farm
We live 30 mins from here but we needed somewhere close to Northallerton to stay overnight for a charity event. Called the site and availability was no issue so we headed over. Great directions, grass site kept beautifully. Easy access to water etc. very peaceful and great views. Being so local we’ll definitely head back here at some point soon for a peaceful few days away. Thanks Denise and see you soon.

Our lucky day!

Bank Head Farm
A last minute change of plan meant that we could go away for the Easter weekend if we could find a CL... The recent heavy rain ruled out a number of CLs near Helmsley so looked further afield and came across Bank Head which, unbelievably, had availability. Not too sure what to expect after the recent rains but arrived to find a nigh on perfect CL! Grass cut short which is always a good sign and ground reasonably firm despite the rain - the CL sits at the end of a private track which makes it extremely quiet. It also sits a little higher than the surrounding countryside so it has great views west & south over farmland towards the Yorkshire Dales. Greeted by Denise on arrival who was extremely welcoming and gave us a (presumably) home printed leaflet which provides lots of useful information on the local area - simple idea but very well done and not something we've seen before. The CL itself is wonderful - really well maintained with easy access to water, waste, recycling etc. - a real credit to Denise & Mike. Access to the site is easy - Denise's directions were spot on - and access to the A19 is also easy for trips to Thirsk etc. Northallerton is a few minutes drive down country lanes and worth a visit. This CL is only 1.5 hours from home so will definitely be returning! Many thanks Denise & Mike!

Beautiful Site

Bank Head Farm
We stayed over the Easter weekend and found this site to be perfect for us. Beautiful views, well maintained site and facilities and easy to get into Northallerton. Site owners were lovely too. We will definitely return.

Fantastic well cared for CL

Bank Head Farm
We stayed here for 7 nights and had a great stay. The location is perfect, very quiet apart from the birds. The facilities are well maintained and the welcome from the owners was great. We were more or less left to get on with our holiday and didn’t see the owners much, however if we did see them they always gave us a friendly wave. We were given a lot of information on our arrival and we chose where to pitch. I can’t find anything to fault this CL, it is just perfect! I’m sure we will be back.
