Chipping Norton Certificated Locations

Chipping Norton, or 'Chippy' to the locals, is a market town in the Cotswolds and the highest town in Oxfordshire.

There has been a market in its centre since the 13th century and visitors can still wander the stalls every Wednesday, as well as attending regular farmers' markets.

For culture, the church has one of the finest interiors in the Cotswolds and the museum - open from Easter until the end of October - offers a fascinating potted history of the region.

There are also plenty of opportunities for retail therapy in this vibrant little town, with antique shops perhaps the most notable places for a bargain.

Add a wide selection of restaurants, pubs and other eateries - and the excellent surrounding countryside for outdoor pursuits - and you've got a great place for a British holiday break.
