Newport Certificated Locations

Newport in Shropshire is a small market town that dates back to the 12th century.

Unfortunately, an extensive fire in the 17th century destroyed most of the original buildings, but there remains plenty to see and do in the area.

The town is a busy shopping destination, with the main high street featuring lots of attractive cobblestones. Shoppers can choose from a range of small boutiques, as well as some larger companies including Costa Coffee and Waitrose.

After all that shopping, there a number of pubs and wine bars, such as the Barley Mow and the Pheasant. One highlight is the Ozzy’s Wine Bar, which was once owned by the infamous Ozzy Osbourne.
