A little gem

Set among peaceful countryside this is a cracker, the grass is cut and collected better than many lawns, the facility hut is spotlessly clean even down to individual hand towels. The site slopes gently but normal ramps cope fine, the view is great. Shelly and Brian are friendly and there if you need them. If old engines are your thing then Brian is your man, just get him to show you.

'Our favourite'

Somehow the sun always seems to be shining when we arrive at Hilltops. This isn't because it always is but because we receive such a warm welcome from Shelly and Brian; because the site always looks immaculate and because in minutes we feel relaxed and at home. We have been visiting this site for a long time and have never been disappointed. The views are wonderful and, apart from birdsong, the peace and quiet allows us to sink into holiday mood immediately. We look forward to returning very soon. Pauline and Geoff

Breathtaking views across the Somerset levels

I would thoroughly recommend this site if you've never been before- the reviews posted by others of the uninterrupted and stunning views over the levels and of the friendliness of Brian and Shelley, I can only ditto. Once you've stayed here, you'll be wanting to return. I used the site as a cycling base to explore the levels and I'm planning my third visit! 5 stars from me :-)

Little Gem

Lovely warm welcome from the helpful owners of this immaculately kept CAMC CL. Every last grass clippings collected - if only every campsite did this including Club sites. Very spacious pitches with EHU on each, one with hard standing. Fresh water, CDP, toilet (no shower) adjacent field to walk the dog. The views from the site are fantastic and there are plenty of walks nearby - short stroll to National Trust thatched windmill (closed pending renovation, I think) or to Church in the Field in Lower Ham. Would use this little gem again. Don’t use Sat Nav follow the instructions on website.

Lovely site and welcome

Lovely couple and site. Views amazing, fab homemade carrot cake from Shelley. Worth a trip to the local Jimmy's cider shack, lots of walks, amazing 200 yr old windmill near by. Will definitely come back.
