Cheadle Certificated Locations

Cheadle is a medieval town mentioned in the Domesday Book and still retains much of its historic feel. Notable buildings include the Grade I-listed St. Giles Catholic Church, which dates from the 1840s.

Many visitors will gravitate to Stoke-on-Trent, which features attractions ranging from the apes at Trentham Gardens to Premier League football.

One of the great legacies of the industrialisation of Staffordshire is its many canals, with plenty of scenic backdrops as the Staffordshire Moorlands are in view and easy to reach, mostly lying inside the Peak District National Park.

Families can also enjoy a great day out at Alton Towers, which is just four miles from Cheadle.
