Why stay here ...

Nick & the team at Droitwich Spa Marina look forward to welcoming you to their CL in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside. The site is ideal for those travelling along the M5. It is only 2.8 miles from junction 5, on a dairy farm and next to a working marina.

We are close to the Droitwich Junction Canal and a short walk to the Worcs/Birmingham Canal. A canalside pub is a short stroll away. There are therefore many walks and cycle rides along the various towpaths – away from roads. Worcester City can be reached along the towpath (approx. 7 miles) and also Birmingham (approx. 22 miles).

Worcestershire has many attractions: The Severn Valley Railway, Malvern Hills, or West Midlands Safari Park, to name but a few, and are all a relatively short distance away. The National Trusts, Hanbury Hall, is only a mile away, with Croome Court another wonderful visit, located just outside Worcester.

The site has hardstanding’s with water points, electric hook ups and lighting on all the pitches, all included in the advertised price.

The Marina showers and toilet facilities are available to Caravaners, for an additional fee which is advertised. The marina shop and office is open 7 days a week 10 a.m. to 4p.m. All our staff are on hand to help with enquiries and general information. All bookings are made through the marina office. The shop offers essential supplies, Gas, Elsan Blue etc. Local literature, maps, brochures and pamphlets are available in the office.

Easy access to the CL site is alongside the Marina. 5 fully serviced pitches all on hardstanding with electric hookup and new shower/toilet facilities for the caravan site's use.

Excellent facilities.

Droitwich Spa Marina
We used this site for one night on our way home from North Yorkshire. each site had own water and waste disposal outlets plus showers and we available if required. Booked online, paid in advance so very easy. very close to motorway you can hear a slight hum from the caravan but not annoying. lovely walks along the canal from the site perfect for dog openers. would use again.

Lovely CL at the Marina

Droitwich Spa Marina
This is our first time at Droitwich Spa Marina. Directions in the book spot on. Good welcome at reception. 5 hardstanding pitches which are fully serviced. New are two toilets with a shower, very nice and heated. The Eagle and Sun is a short walk along the canal, we had a lovely carvery there. In the opposite direction it is approx 1/2 hour walk into town.

A bit tired

Droitwich Spa Marina
Constant motorway noise - hard standing pitches have been covered in cheap hardcore - no bins on site so you have to go to Marina reception - feels like a secondary source of income to the Marina and not a very competitive price for what you get - location is good but won’t be returning

Good CL but lost enthusiasm now

Droitwich Spa Marina
I have stayed twice and I do live local in Droitwich so use the site to set up the caravan for longer trips or an event at the Rugby ground where we can make a weekend of it with friends. The pitches are ok with hardstanding but on setting up a small awning on Pitch 1 it was far from level. (The hardstanding in places is broken Brick and other such material) Electric and Water is very close so no issue. On my first ever stay I arrived at 2pm and had to park up while waiting for a motorhome to depart after 3.30pm it turned out it was one of the Boaters MH and he could not be bothered to move it until he was ready. (This location is all about the boaters and this CL is tired and afterthought in my opinion) on the second stay is it was nice and peaceful and no issue. We did not pay for facilities but prices had gone up from £15 - £18 between out stays (reasonable value if you use your van for everything bathroom related) I was excited to see a "Work in progress" expansion of the CL (possibly making it a full fledged Campsite and not tired anymore) and I often drive up have a walk up to see how its going. Sadly the owner is very over zealous on people parking on his property (all of the marina) and gave me a bit of grief today as I walked up with our little dog and whilst this is not part of the review it should noted if visitors arrive you may be challenged. (There is a council Car Park at the entrance to approaching road) I will focus on other CL's around Droitwich for my pottering with the Caravan from now on but if you need a central location to Droitwich and surrounding areas and like canal walks the site a OK option. I wish them well with the new campsite looking at the work done it could be very nice.

Serviced pitches

Droitwich Spa Marina
Pleasant enough site on terraced gravelled pitches each with their own electric, water and drainage. Access alongside fenced marina with showers at £5 a time which we declined. Eagle pub a short walk down opposite towpath but we didn't visit. Office open for payment 10-4 daily.
