Situated on the River Salwarpe in Worcestershire, Droitwich Spa (also known as just Droitwich) has a history spanning back to Roman times.
The first community settled in Droitwich Spa around 2000 years ago, thanks to the natural brine springs. Visitors wanting to learn more about the history of the town can opt for a guided walk. These take place on select Saturdays throughout the year and begin at the Droitwich Spa Heritage and Information Centre.
