Huntly Certificated Locations

Once known as Milton of Strathbogie, Huntly has a population of less than 5,000 and is characterised by the same kind of grey granite architecture seen in Aberdeen.

However, the building many will be coming to see is Huntly Castle, a ruin that has given shelter to many famous figures in Scottish history, including Robert the Bruce.

The town is also on the Speyside Whisky trail and makes a great base for exploring the area's many distilleries.

Walkers can enjoy visiting the Cairngorms National Park a few miles to the south, while to the north, the Moray Coast offers some superb beaches and a chance to spot the Northern Lights in favourable conditions.
