Lovely quiet stay

Bryn Goronwy
Just come back from a wonderful week in early September. The weather was simply glorious after such a poor August. Great location and handy for so many beaches and walks. Ian was so helpful and keen to make sure everything was fine. All services at your pitch which was large with hard standing and grass. Entrance a little narrow but manageable with care and we had no issues. Great shower with plenty hot water. We had such a lovely time, thanks Ian, we will be back

A well run CL with lovely owners

Bryn Goronwy
This was our first visit to this CL. Booking was simple and no deposit asked for. We duly turned up for our 8 night stay on a Sunday, with owner Ian meeting us and directing us to Pitch number 3, prior allocation. Please note that at the moment both Ian and Yvonne work, hence the allocation of pitch. The directions to the site were correct but please note that the sign for the turn off to Tyn-y-Gogl, as mentioned in the S.D directions is SMALL and it is easier to see the larger sign for Llangefni. This will be the first sign for Llangefni that you will see after passing the sign for Benllech from the south. Then follow the directions in the S.D. The C.L. is right after the chapel on the right hand of the road. Approach the entrance, signed, in a straight line. There is space to take a wide swing into it. The entrance is narrow but perfectly adequate if approached with care. The C.L. itself is about 100 yards further down. There are 3 pitches at the bottom of the CL with a hedge behind them and 2 slightly higher up with a fence on top of a wall behind those. All H/S but the top 2 will require cars parked in front of unit. Grass area between pitches, quite spacious compared to a Club site. The owners prefer that no awnings or cars are put on the grass. There is room on the pitch for an awning and a car. There is a clean shower with toilet for members use and the Elsan is found by the side of this. Ground level straight in sewer after lifting cover. All pitches have EHU and a tap with a grid, or the hedge, for grey waste. Ian was always around in the evenings and would make sure all was ok with us without ever overstaying. Free wi-fi provided with adequate coverage for our use. Phone signal fine with EE but not so good with Smarty. We don't use a TV but could hear other members who didn't complain about signal. There is a bus stop within easy distance, outside the pub. The road was quiet most of the day. Easy access to local points of interest, including the Beach, Coastal path and interesting archaeological memorials or burial chambers. We had no trouble filling in 7 days worth of activities without travelling too far. There is a Public Footpath running alongside the site for dog owners but there doesn't seem to be a joined up pathway for long walks. We paid £25 p.n., which is about par for a serviced pitch on Hardstanding in Angelsey. We will return, hopefully, someday.

Fantastic

Bryn Goronwy
Great little gem of a site immaculately clean and Ian gave me warm welcome. Local pub 5 mins walk and a lovely Indian takeaway that delivers to the site, ideal location for exploring the island.
