Why stay here ...

Welcome to Tyr-Wennol! Our CL site is located in the tranquil village of Rhyd-Rosser, just 2 miles from the coast road and village of Llanrhystud. The picturesque site is home to two stabled horses however well behaved dogs and children are very welcome. We have also just added a new shower and toilet block with a washing up sink available.

Local amenities in Llanrhystud include a good pub, restaurant, post office and shop. The local garage has a large supermarket and the road opposite the garage leads to the beach just 1/2 a mile away.

The Penrhos Park Country Club has facilities which include an indoor pool, gym and sauna plus two championship golf courses with a floodlit driving range. Day visitors are very welcome to use all the facilities. The restaurant and bar is open every day, all year round with an extensive daily menu.

The charming Georgian port town of Aberaeron is just a short drive away and within 10 miles is Aberystwyth. An array of new shops, museum, pier, promenade, Devils Bridge railway and the famous clifftop funicular railway with stunning views make Aberystwyth well worth a visit.

New Quay is just 16 miles away, where you can take a boat trip to see the famous Cardigan bay dolphins or enjoy the lovely sandy beaches.

The site also has a 2 bedroom self-contained cottage apartment available to book through Airbnb should this be of added interest.

All in all we think our CL is a great base to explore the local area and a warm welcome awaits.

Please note price per night is fully inclusive of electricity and each pitch has its own individual water tap.

Minimum 2 night stay.

Spacious and fab facilities

Loved this CL. It's a huge field so plenty of space for everyone & set up with a hook up and fresh water tap for each pitch which feels like a real luxury. Keith is super helpful (we got our dates mixed up and arrived a day early!) and has clearly given some thought as to how to make this a great CL. Lovely and quiet, just a gentle hum of tractors bringing in the hay when we were there. Great location for road biking and running, plenty of quiet lanes and a few big hills to get the heart rate up! Would have no hesitation in recommending or staying again.

Brilliant Site

Tyr-Wennol Rhydroser
The owner Keith has set up a first class CL. The pitches are spacious and well maintained. The shower block is freshly completed and kept to a high standard with two toilets and shower rooms. Also there is a separate sink for washing up. The surrounding area is beautiful with Aberystwyth and Aberaeron short distances away. The approach to the site from the main road is about 1 mile on single track lanes, a little hair raising. Useful info available on site and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Can recommend this site without any hesitation.

An Excellent Site

Tyr-Wennol Rhydroser
An excellent site. Set in peaceful countryside this site is level, in a large field and each pitch is provided with electric hook-up and a water tap. Keith has provided an excellent toilet and shower block containing two integral shower/toilet units and a separate washing facility. The unit is relatively new and kept very clean. We were met on arrival by Keith who showed us to our pitch and explained all the amenities. We could not fault the site and will definitely visit Tyr-Wennol again.

Lovely site

Tyr-Wennol Rhydroser
Spent two nights on this lovely peaceful site. The facilities are excellent, shower, loo and washbasin all immaculate. Keith very welcoming and helpful. There is even a shed with toys and equipment for visitors to use, badminton set, buckets and spades etc. Ideal having electric and tap on each pitch. Will return.

Loved this CL site

Tyr-Wennol Rhydroser
First of all the owner, Keith, is marvellous. Very knowledgeable and full of recommendations for local places. Couldn't have been more helpful to a couple of newbies to camper-vanning. We are on our last night which has been a very tranquil stay. A hidden gem. Our Springer spaniel ran free playing ball, but only as no other dogs on site. We met some lovely people onsite, special thanks to Phil and Jan who offered help with our drive away awning should we have needed it. Only our 2nd trip since buying van. There are no showers, but that didn't detract from a wonderful stay. The field is flat, electric and water each pitch a bonus. Waste disposal points, information leaflets and menus for a local pub. The grounds are well kept and ponies in adjoining field. Being able to see the stars at night was delightful. All in all 100% happy and we intend to book again for next year.
