Gorgeous views

We stayed 26th May for 2 nights. We had a friendly welcome with lots of advice on places to visit. We visited the local farmers show on the owners recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views from the site are stunning. We took a wrong turn and ended up on some very narrow, steep windy roads on the way in but it was well worth the drive. Would definitely return.

Well recommended site

Well maintained site with great views. Very quiet with large pitches for 4 units. Site owners very friendly and helpful. Access from Colwyn Bay was not the easiest we have experienced but the climb up the hill was well worth it. Visit to the White Lion recommended by our hosts was great as was our visit to Bodnant Gardens.

Based on reviews, disappointed.

Having holidayed in Wales since the age of 5, the view was ok. Far too regimented in placing the caravan on pitches, you have no choice. For a CL site we didn't expect this they are normally more relaxed. There is an arrival time but, having checked, the site description does not state a time of arrival. Good welcome pack, lovely sunsets. The elsan point is up a steep hill. We probably would not return.

Amazing views

Ffrith Wen
Journey up to this site is very, very steep and we could smell our clutch. We then took a wrong turn due to a sign hidden by leaves and had to use our motor mover to turn round although the caravan did scrap the ground - no damage. However, through a shut gate we were treated by the most amazing views ever so it was worth it. We were on pitch 4 and Mrs Payne apologised for the pylon but that didn't matter. She gave us a mountain of leaflets for the area and we went from Llandudno to Anglesey and surrounding area enjoying every minute. Lovely clean site with water very near by and according to my husband no problem emptying the toilet cassette. We are still here no haven't visited the local pubs yet for a meal but we will do. Shops are near by in the town but no village shops. Doubt we will come to this area again but would definitely book here if we did.

The owners are lovely very welcoming and gave us a hand made map and leaflets of local interests. The site has stunning views very well kept and peaceful. We had to leave early as car had broken down and the owner was very helpful and gave us a refund and got us on our way, we are extreamly grateful and will be returning asap
