Great little site

Bryn Clwyd
We arrived at the entrance to the site and Jeff the warden came within minutes of us contacting him. He immediately gave us a key for the padlocked gate so that we could come and go as we pleased. It's very secure and we felt confident in leaving our unit for the whole day (we were the only ones on the site for the duration). The site has water, CDP, bins and a small garden area which we could have parked on. We opted for the hard standing area due to the weather. It's location for St Asaph is great, with river walks and cycle routes to Rhuddlan. We were out most of the day so don't know what the A55 daytime noise is like, but found it very noticeable during the rush hour times, but not during the nuight. If you are after complete peace and quiet then this is not the site for you.

Thanks Jeff

Booked in for 2 nights ended up staying the week. Simple site, great for the local area, straight off th A55. Make sure you visit Cae Dai '50's museum and Denbigh Castle. Had a great time chatting with Jeff, he can't do enough to help, ask him about the bread and butter pudding.

What a find a hidden little gem of a site. Very easy to book by phoning Jeff directly. Jeff makes you feel very welcome and can't do enough to help you. The site is very secure as gates to the site are locked at all times (key is given to you so you can come and go as you please) The site is kept immaculate by Jeff with views of the Welsh hills around us, we could not ask for more. You have Water, CDP, and Waste Bins and also a choice of Hard Standing or Grass pitch and although the site is near the A55 the traffic noise was not enough to disturb our sleep. Good work Jeff, keep going.

Small but well formed

Bryn Clwyd
This is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a stop for St Asaph and the surrounding area. The warden, Jeff, is very welcoming and helpful and is resident on the site. A decent and large area of hard standing and a grassy area - we got stuck in the grass after the May rains and Jeff efficiently organised help to extricate us. No EHU but there's water, refuse bins and chemical toilet disposal. Site is clean, tidy and well organised. The A55 is nearby but the traffic noise is not enough to disturb a good night's sleep. Surrounded by rolling fields and gentle hills. 10 minutes brisk walk to St Asaph on a road with a decent pavement. Well recommended and would happily return.
