Why stay here ...

The Meadows Bryncrug is set within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park amidst mountains, streams and waterfalls, with some lovely walks and cycle rides.

Within 400 yards is the Peniarth good food pub, and many other good choices in the local area, Tywyn, Aberdovey and Taly-Llyn-Lake to name but a few. The coastal town of Tywyn is just 2.3 miles away with its shops, the Magic Lantern 3D cinema, numerous eateries and wonderful sandy beaches where dolphins are frequently seen close to the shore. Dog friendly to most parts. Try not to miss some of the spectacular sunsets from the beach.

Rhyd-yr-onnen single gauge railway request stop is a 3/4 mile walk from the Meadows, this can take you either to Tywyn or inland to the Dolgoch Falls and Abergynolwyn.

We are also on the bus route to Tywyn, Machynlleth and Dolgellau etc.

Barmouth's single track wooden railway, crossing the River Mawddach estuary is a favourite for walkers, cyclists or just taking the journey on the train up to Pwllheli, further up in the North of Wales.

Local dog walks. 1 mile around Bryncrug village is known locally as the globe. Or 1/2 mile through the field. Further afield following the river from the Meadows down to the estuary past broadwater and on to Bailey Bridge.

A haven for bird watches, buzzards, kites and smaller wildlife.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

We have satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

We are an Adult only site.

The Meadows
What a great little site, only spent 2 nights here but wish we could have stayed longer. Both Gail and David were very friendly and helpful. The site itself was kept in a very neat and tidy condition and the layout was very well thought out, also, the shower and toilet were kept immaculate. Highly recommended, would definately return if in the area again/

Setting the bar....

The Meadows
Lovely site, well thought out with friendly owners. Excellent facilities which set the bar very high for a CL. Excellent walking in the local area , very good pub grub at the Peniarth Arms. Our only minor negative would be the tightness of manoeuvring in our 7m mh. We wanted to face the hills and reverse onto pitch 5 (hab door on right), fortunately pitch 2 was empty at the time so we managed it by using this. Also we didn't move the mh during our stay, otherwise it would have been quite awkward. That said it didn't spoil our stay and the site comes highly recommended.

Visit

The Meadows
This site was well thought out. The pitches were well maintained, and the site provided a lovely dog area .The facilities absolutely spotless with hygiene at the forefront. The area it’s self provided a short walk to a lovely river ,and a short drive away you entered into beautiful welsh scenery. We wish we had stayed a little longer. Owners were friendly and the information pack ( wish this was a rule for all sites)was most welcome. We had no problems with getting a tv reception or Wfi . Well done
