Appalling overpriced site - horseflies everywhere- toilets and shower worst I've ever used. Glad to leave.

Lower Hasguard Farm
A peaceful field, but that's about all I can say. Next to a road, which was fortunately not very busy, but we didn't stay in the height of summer. Might be a different story in peak holiday season. Toilets are in a dingy fibre glass outbuilding in the corner of the field and are certainly not clean. Horse flies a plenty here. Bitten several times. Owner a Jekyl and Hyde character. Very pleasant when we paid him the full £20 per night. Rudely awoken early the next morning when he came back demanding cash. We had paid with a voucher and had not out changed him. Nowhere does it state you cannot use certified in date valid vouchers. I suggest if this is the case the website should be updated or the CL removed. Very rude, abrupt and uncooperative attitude. Glad to only be staying there a couple of nights..and Will definitely not stay again, and cannot recommend you stay here. Twenty pounds a night is £20 too much.

Poor facilities

Lower Hasguard Farm
Mr Rees was very welcoming and the site is in a good position for exploring. However the toilet and shower facilities leave a lot to be desired.

Delightfully peaceful

Lower Hasguard Farm
Site is extremely quiet and ideally situated for walking the coastal path as buses cover the north and south of the lane the site is on. The coastal bus passes Hasguard Cross and the Dale-Milford Haven bus (I forget the service no.) passes the south end of the lane. We would have no hesitation booking this site again if/when we are in the area again.

A peaceful location ideally situated

Lower Hasguard Farm
We stayed here in April 2016 to continue walking the Wales Coast Path. This site is ideal for that, being near to both coasts. Although small, it has an old 'shed' with shower and toilet in the field, which is kept very clean. You have to pop down to the farm to book in, which is short drive away. Mr and Mrs Rees are very welcoming and friendly, although not on site. We were, in the main, on our own for our visit so had plenty of space on the hard standing. I'm not sure how much space you would have if there were 5 or more caravans there.

Perfect for all of Pembrokeshire

Lower Hasguard Farm
Visited Jan 2015 during flurries of snow and very cold winds. Was welcomed on arrival. Has small shower/toilet cabin with good electric shower and provided toilet paper for wc. The bonus was that a lamp heater was left on at all times which made using the shower in sub zero conditions more pleasant. There was a newly made large hardstanding area (which we were grateful to be the first to use given the time of the year). The site overlooked a field with no less than fourteen Shetland ponies in, which delighted my partner who is a horse lover. Within 15 minutes drive is a biggish Tesco at Milford Haven, and the site is very quiet despite being next to a single car width country lane (rarely used). The low price (for inc shower, electric and wc) may well reflect this not being very close to the main Pembrokeshire attractions, although I would argue that its position offers the best central location for visiting them all... We were mainly just doing walks, and these ranged geographically over every area of the county, There is no nearby pub on foot, which was fine by us... You are also unlikely to get this kind of peace and tranquility at a cl close to Tenby (for example)...  I would recommend it unreservedly and thank Mr and Mrs Rees for a lovely two week stay... I wish them all of the luck for the future.
