Claire and Jon welcome you to Snead Barns CL site situated on the Shropshire/Welsh border on route to the Welsh coast. The site is easily accessible off the A489.
The CL is 1.5 miles from the local market town of Bishop's Castle which has 2 microbreweries (The Three Tuns & The Six Bells) along with quirky shops, pubs, takeaways and lovely gardens at The Castle Hotel. Supermarkets can be found at nearby Churchstoke and the market town of Welshpool.
For those who enjoy walking or cycling explore and enjoy the wonderful Powys/Shropshire countryside where you can dip into The Shropshire Way and Offa's Dyke on route. The Long Mynd and hills of Church Stretton are close by too. Many historic beauty spots surround us including Stiperstones, Powys Castle (Welshpool), Stokesay Castle in Craven Arms and Ludlow Castle in the beautiful market town which is also a haven for foodies!
Alternatively just take a break and unwind overlooking the rolling hills and keep an eye out for the visiting wildlife.
At Snead Barns we not only have an interiors store but also a craft space where anyone can enjoy learning a new skill such as pottery, water colour painting or jewellery making to name just a few. The list of available workshops is available on our facebook page. So why not combine a relaxing craft experience with your stay. Feel free to give us a call to book you pitch and place on one of the workshops.
