Why stay here ...

Trevedra Farm is a family run working farm and campsite with dramatic sea views overlooking Land's End and the Isles of Scilly. Established over 80 years ago by their grandparents, the site is now run by John and Wendy Nicholas. Having taken on the running of the site in 2002 major investments have been made year on year to improve the facilities for our guests, many of whom have also been coming for generations. John and Wendy hope to continue to improve the facilities whilst retaining the unique charm and character of Trevedra.

There are two toilet and shower blocks. (A third toilet block is open through May - Sept). These include two family rooms and a disabled facility, laundry and dishwashing areas.

The popular Ocean Blue Café, shop and reception allow guests to relax and pick up all the essentials, whilst enjoying fresh bread, Cornish Pasties, home-made cakes, and home cooked meals and snacks. The English Breakfast is a firm favourite with a good variety of evening meals. Special diets can be catered for as discussed with our cook, Beverley. Wifi is also accessible across the site (fee payable)

A short walk to the sandy Gwynver Beach (dog friendly) also leads to the stunning coastal path and on to Sennen Cove and Land's End.

The Minack Theatre, Geevor Tin Mine, Land's End are all great days out and the local walks are stunning whatever the season. Local buses offer a great alternative to the car to be able to see some lovely villages and including the very popular St.Ives.

Trevedra Farm offers a Cornish welcome to all our visitors where all the staff are here to help you enjoy your stay and the area.

Site redevelopment work

Trevedra Farm is being improved with a new toilet block this autumn/winter 2016! Work will commence from 26 September and will be completed by April 2017. There will be temporary facilities in place in the interim, but there will be no laundry facilities, main toilets and shower or disabled facilities on the site (the nearest laundry is just 4 miles away).

Good site.

Spent a night here while touring Cornwall. Friendly welcome and nice pitch with sea view. Good facilities including a cafe (not sure of opening times though). No idea about familes as no children around in term time.

Visit: 6/8-21/8/2016

Set in a fantastic location to explore all of west Cornwall, the site is on a working farm. Despite having a large American RV, access was not a problem with waste disposal behind the main building. I was allocated a great space at the top of the main field with no manoeuvring problems at all by a very friendly and welcoming lady on reception. In fact, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Well-stocked shop with lots of local and fresh produce, if an erratic and disparate pricing approach on various items ! Café/restaurant which has good, basic food including cooked breakfasts through to Sunday roasts and speciality evenings on Wednesdays. Local fishmonger visits every Monday afternoon with superb selection of items. The toilet shower block is in desperate need of full refurbishment but this is the only negative. Easy access to White Sands Bay through the farm fields and down the beach path. I will CERTAINLY be back. Loved it here.

Summer 2016 visit

We've returned again to the beautiful Cornish coastline on which Trevedra sits so there must be something special about the place that keeps our family revisiting. The reasons could be the welcoming owners and staff, the excellent facilities and well stocked shop, the restaurant, the location and as a bit of a motor person you will usually come across an unusual outfit in the non members field of interest. Further to this a brand new toilet block is planned for the 2017 season. Great stuff.

5 Night Stay

We were allocated a pitch in the members area and told exactly how to pitch. We arrived home after a day out on day 3 to find a new outfit arrived next to us uncomfortably close! The site has rules but these seem to be mainly ignored- dogs off leads, noise from one of the very close camping fields until 2am. The site was very busy, with a variety of tents, vans etc and the toilet block facilities appalling, plenty of hot water but filthy and everything, floor, walls etc wet through! The nearby beach is very nice but quite a trek. I feel this site falls very much below the clubs standard and am surprised it's part of the network.

Take care where you are pitched!

We booked in for a 7 night stay. As we have a 5th wheel rig and as a courtesy, we telephoned ahead to let the site know. A bit about our rig - it has a UK side door and give or take it’s the same size and weight as our old Auto-Trail Comanche motor home. We arrived and were 'allocated' a pitch. Registration was fast and painless. Site location was great, having great views and a close walk to a beautiful beach. The toilet/shower block was a bit 1960's, but they were always clean and had plenty of hot water. The shop on-site sold the basics and a good selection of pasties, cakes and the like. The café was a delight…with Sunday lunch being the highlight and worth booking. Back to our pitch, for some reason we were not put onto the 'Caravan Club' area of the site (a fact discovered the day we left while I was trying to figure out how we got off the site). When I asked why we weren't in the Caravan Club area, the owner said first "we were too large"…then when I pointed out we were only the size of a large UK motor home, she changed her story saying there was "no space"… despite us booking and paying on 4/1/16!!!!!) Instead we were located a pitch next to the bins and toilet block. During our stay, we found some previously unknown to us camping habits. For example, how many people throw away their glass bottles and rubbish between the hours of 1:00 am and 8:00 am. Also being in the middle of the tents (single man and family), surf rigs and transit vans , this gave us an insight into new behaviours , modern music and teenage life way into the early hours… cleaning up dog pooh on several occasions (because dogs were not on a lead - despite the signs) was also an unexpected task. IMPORTANT, if you book and you want a quiet holiday on this site, make sure to ENSURE at the time of booking that you are going on the area reserved for the Caravan Club and not the general camping area. It's a real nightmare!
