Wirral is a peninsula of great natural beauty, and the Wirral Country Park Club Campsite is set right in the midst of some of its loveliest landscapes with wonderful sea views. Located in a country park of 2,000 acres of unspoilt nature, the caravan park is made up of several pitching areas attractively separated by trees and shrubs. Some pitches overlook the Dee Estuary, which is one of many ideal places for scenic walks. There are lots of lovely wooded areas on site and plenty of bird life to observe.

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of a wealth of fun activities to suit all tastes, whether for sports enthusiasts, young families or those with ultra-relaxed pursuits in mind. You will find the caravan park just perfect for sailing - no less than seven private Sailing Clubs offer temporary and family membership to visitors. Apart from a huge choice of unforgettably scenic walks, the area offers power-boating, water skiing and other water-based sports to enjoy along with several indoor swimming pools, sports and recreation centres and golf courses. One of our Merseyside touring sites, you’ll be conveniently located to visit Liverpool and explore north Wales.

Fabulous stay, fabulous hosts, exceptional service!

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
My wife and I arrived after a very stressful few weeks of selling our home and wanting to travel. Having completed the day before and picking up our new motorhome on the day of arrival, again with its teething problems, Dawn and Graham and the team made us feel extremely welcome and we very much appreciated those efforts that made everything feel normal again. Throughout our stay they managed to assist us to minimise disruption whilst we were finalising all our arrangements and were always informative, friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for such a lovely stay and for all you did for us! If you want a 5 star service in a beautiful location you will not be disappointed with the Wirral Country Park site!

Fab Site

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
This was our first caravan break with our Tourer, we were met by the most friendly staff, who were so helpful, great advice and there to ask any questions. We were given a choice of pitches that were available. It was so peaceful, and a pleasure to watch the bunnies at work too. The site was exceptionally clean and tidy. The shower block although a little dated was perfectly clean and usable. Pitches are all spaced out well so it didn’t feel cramped at all. We will definitely be returning. The Wirral is such a beautiful area that we knew nothing about before.

Exceptional Hosts and Beautiful Surroundings – A Perfect Stay for Those Needing Extra Support

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
I recently stayed at this wonderful site and had an exceptional experience. Dawn and Graham, the site managers, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. As someone with autism, I often require reasonable adjustments to make my stay comfortable, and Dawn and Graham went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. They understood my condition and made every effort to help me find the best pitch. Additionally, they lent me an extension cable for the EHU when mine proved too short. I mentioned to Dawn that I struggle with levelling my caravan due to OCD, and Graham immediately came to assist. Their warm welcome and support gave me the confidence to level the caravan myself for the first time in my caravanning life. Despite the site being fully booked, it remained peaceful and tranquil, providing a perfect retreat. The local area is outstandingly beautiful, with a gorgeous beach and fantastic nearby walks that added to the overall experience. Wirral is such a beautiful place and the Wirral Country Park site is smack right bang in the centre of it. While the stay was mostly positive, there were a few minor issues. Access to the site on Sunday was challenging due to a local event, but the staff did their best to assist everyone in getting to their pitches. Additionally, the tractor used around the site was quite loud and started early in the morning. Lastly, although the beach is very close, there is no direct access from the site, which is a shame - but no one's fault as there are cliffs in the way...the steps down to the beach were only a 10-15 minute walk from my pitch, if you turn right from the site, I'm also a very fast walker. It' was about 0.8km according to my watch and the steps are very steep. Easier access is from Deeside Sailing club which is about 10 minutes walk if you go left from the site. Overall, I highly recommend this campsite, especially for those who need extra support. Dawn and Graham’s dedication to their guests’ well-being made my stay unforgettable! Thank you so much.

Great site but ……

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
Lovely site great views over Dee Estuary. Nice pitches. Great staff. But …. Facilities are dated. 4 toilets/showers for male/females is not enough for 76 pitches. Facilities are cramped and dated compared to other sites. New facilities block is needed if CMC are to continue to charge top price to this site. Better value for money available on many other sites.

A great site in great need of CAMC investment

Wirral Country Park Club Campsite
▪︎ Location - fantastic. Near a park, a lovely beach, great local towns and villages, cafes and pubs etc. ▪︎ Peace and quiet - great. ▪︎ Good for families - see above. ▪︎ Wardens - great. As you would expect, they are friendly, helpful and work hard for our benefit. The facilities are always clean and the external areas are very well maintained. If I could separate out the 'cleanliness' from the 'facilities, I would give the wardens five stars. The three star rating is NOT in any way to be seen as a criticism of them. Facilities and cleanliness: ▪︎ The facilities, although working and well maintained by the wardens, are dated and tired. An overhaul is long overdue, especially given the prices charged for this site. ▪︎ The site road is in a very poor state. Again, the hard work of the wardens keeps them usable but there is no escaping the desperate need for a complete resurfacing. There are large pot-holes, the edges are deteriorating and large puddles appear when it rains. Come on CAMC, spend some of our hard earned pitch fees on this site.
