An excellent site!

Southport Club Campsite
We visited for two nights on our way back from Scotland. Friendly welcome from the Warden on duty in the office. Pitches well spaced and of a good size. The site is within easy walking distance of Southport which we enjoyed visiting. The shower and toilet facilities were clean, modern, spacious and warm. The site has two walkways handy for walking dogs. One goes to the dunes and the other to a recreation field - please clear up after you! The site was quiet and relaxing. Just one minor bugbear - the lady who insisted on walking her dog on the strip of grass between our pitch and the next! This is becoming more common on sites lately - please respect other people's pitch area! One other thing, the site was awash with rabbits, especially in the evening - just in case you have a dog that's partial to a chase as ours is! An excellent site and thank you to the Wardens for keeping it so well.

Always enjoy this site

Southport Club Campsite
We have been returning to this site for over 20 years and seen vast improvements which are always done to a high standard. This time we stayed on a service pitch and used the nearest toilet block to them. The block was lovely and clean as always but with us both having slight disability problems at present we felt that all shower cubicles would benefit from a hand rail in the shower area. We couldn’t always get into the multi use adapted cubicle & our needs were not severe enough to take up use of the separate actual disabled facility. Otherwise we hope to return many more times in the future.

Great Site! Great Location!

Southport Club Campsite
My second visit this year so far and won’t be my last! Excellent location and facilities which are kept impeccably clean by the friendly wardens. Within easy walking distance of all the amenities and shops of Southport. Ideal for cycling as Southport has many wide cycle paths and routes. There’s even a cycle hire facility close to the site. As I’ve said I will definitely be returning again this summer as I want to see the sea. 😀

Southport C&MC Site

Southport Club Campsite
We've been staying on this site for years because of its proximity to our family. It's a lovely site with some of the most friendly and helpful wardens, and impeccable amenities. It's position lends itself to all the holiday necessities, with the beach, pleasureland, boating lakes and shopping all within walking distance, but, and this a big but for us the site is plagued with visitors who constantly walk across pitches to get to the facility blocks. It doesn't seem to be an issue at other sites, but at Southport it is. Just look at the other reviews. I realise that the wardens can't be patrolling around all the time, but please can visitors be asked not use site pitches as a short cut through to the blocks. Our last stay was spoilt by our pitch being used as a path, even on two occasions used as a dog walk. Luckily we had two dogs with us and they made their presence known and the dog walkers got the message. This gripe won't stop us from revisiting, but it's a issue that needs addressing. I just wish I had the solution.

I adore this site however

Southport Club Campsite
Clean and well kept with amazing wardens however I made a huge mistake this bank holiday weekend by pitching on 145 close to the main facilities, I just want to say for goodness sake stop walking across my pitch it’s an invasion of my privacy walk round it’s just RUDE.
