Why stay here ...

Nestled in a tree lined, park like setting, Rowan Park Club Site is adjacent to a country park yet conveniently situated alongside the A29 and just 2 miles from the traditional seaside resort of Bognor Regis. Bognor Regis has a shingle and sand beach, promenade plus many appealing entertainments including South Coast World - a Butlins attraction - where one entrance fee allows access to all of the rides throughout the day - a bargain for the whole family to enjoy.

Rowan Park Club Site also gives you convenient access to Arun Leisure Centre, home to a fine indoor swimming pool. Must see attractions are Arundel Castle and Chichester Cathedral, whilst the Chichester Festival Theatre offers theatre goers the chance to experience both classical and contemporary plays whilst Arundel hosts a popular Music and Drama Festival at the end of August. You will be well located for Glorious Goodwood in July, Goodwood Revival (September) and the Festival of Speed in June. Picturesque Bosham is also nearby and offers a lovely walk along the harbour and pubs within the village. With all these attractions and more throughout the year, the area has a varied appeal that won't disappoint.

A Little Oasis !

After reading some reviews we were concerned about this site. I am happy to say we loved it. Yes it is in a strange position basically stuck between two main roads but as you drive through the gate it is a beautiful forest of trees and calm. All sites are a good size and the facilities are kept to probably the highest standard I have seen. The Wardens are extremely helpful. We set up as far away from the road as possible and it didn't intrude much at all. The are plenty of birds to watch and so many rabbits it is like Watership Down. We stayed there to go to Goodwood Festival of Speed but also visited Arundel Castle and Pagham RSPB reserve. Both brilliant days out. Having all the main supermarkets so close was actually very handy. You can walk to Lidls once you have negotiated the road. I am sure that next year if we go to Goodwood we will return to this site.

Lovely Stay

We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed our stay. The site and facilities were spotless. It is a perfect location for visiting the coast, Arundel Castle and the other towns round about. As stated in the handbook and on the website there is road noise but this is to be expected as the site situated just off the A97. It certainly didn’t detract us from sitting out enjoying the sun of an evening.

Lovely Site

We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed our stay. The site was up to the high standards expected of club sites. It is a perfect base for visiting the coast and Arundel Castle and the other towns round about. As mentioned on the website and in the book there is road noise but being so close to the A97 this has to be expected. It certainly didn’t stop us from sitting out enjoying the sun of an evening.

Noisy but convenient

We stayed here for the bank holiday. The road noise, if you are that side of the park is fairly bad and the ‘boy racers’ are relentless at night. Being a warm weekend, we couldn’t really have the windows open at night. On the plus, it’s a walk away from a retail park with a Lidl and matalan etc. And the dog walk is one of the biggest I’ve seen in a site. Convenient for exploring Bognor, access is easy onto site. Warm welcome! But not a a peaceful site.

Very nice site, shame about the busy road

We have used this site before so knew what to expect re traffic noise, its not so bad in the cooler weather as windows not open but I wouldn't want to stay there in the summer !!. Location is good with easy access, there is a Lidl just across the road which is great for a daily paper and other basics, bigger Sainsburys & Tesco also walkable but prob easier in the car. Cycle path into Bognor and other nice routes direct from the campsite. Wardens were fine, helpful and friendly, will return as it suits our needs (relatives near by) but would be great in the police did something about the boy racers who seem to favour after midnight on Sundays for their playtime !!
