Why stay here ...

LOW 10% refundable deposit plus FREE cancellations and FREE amendments*

Situated just north of Brora on the east coast of Sutherland, Brora Club Campsite is set in a sheltered saucer of land with pretty views of the surrounding countryside and just 300 yards from a sandy beach. You can play golf directly from the caravan site and use the course as your pathway to the sea.

The site offers plenty of attractions for the whole family. Birdwatchers will be in their element - there are even Arctic Tern nesting just above the beach waterline. Those who enjoy water activities will have a choice of the loch or the sea for either swimming or fishing. The caravan park is an ideal place to unwind - you can lose track of time while watching birds, seals, dolphins and deer. The village of Brora is only a couple of miles away and has shops and a couple of dining options, and you can walk further down the coast to Golspie with additional eating and drinking establishments.

To fully take in the spectacular views of the region you can walk, drive or cycle along quiet routes to discover the many picturesque lochs and mountains. The single track rail journey to Wick is a scenic must and the Orkney Islands beckon with day trips from John O'Groats at Brora during the summer.

ITS ALL ABOUT THE BEACH

Brora Club Campsite
If you are travelling to Orkney this is the ideal club site as the journey to either ferry across the Pentland Firth is less than 2 hours. There are good roads whether you are travelling north, south or across to the west coast. But the gem of this site is the beach which is easy to access by a short stroll across the golf course. If you arrive tired after all your travelling (which we did) the paddling or swimming opportunities here will revive every time. Friendly warm welcome from the wardens and usual high standard of facilities.

Perfectly placed.

Brora Club Campsite
A perfectly placed site if you are doing the NC500. I stopped here on my way round. Dropped the wobble box off, and explored the area. I had a very good pitch alongside the golf course. Easy walk to a fabulous beach. Facilities were clean and well looked after. Would stay here again if coming passed.

Great site, very welcoming staff

Brora Club Campsite
We stayed a night here during our tour of the NC500. Lovely, well maintained site with friendly and welcoming wardens. The site is well maintained and close to the beach via a short walk over the adjacent golf club. Definitely a site we would return to

Stunning Location

Brora Club Campsite
Lovely location on the east coast. Five minute walk across the golf course adjacent, to the beach. Stunning red sand beach. Weather was showery and cold during our visit but who cares with such views and scenery all around! As in a lot of sites, showers and toilet facilities were a bit tired but exceptionally clean. We appreciated the book and DVD exchange or a donation could be made instead if you have none the swap. Brora has a coop for supplies and can be walked to up the golf course if you like but we stopped back there after our day out. It has an ice cream shop and a couple of take aways as far as we could see…we didn’t use them this time. We stayed for two nights and explored the coast road up as far as Wick. Helmsdale has a great fish and chip shop ( huge portions) and also a restaurant. We got fish and chips and ate them overlooking the harbour. Also there is a nice harbour and walk to a Fairy Glen at Latheron Wheel. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. Birds a bit noisy at night and you could hear the sound of the train in the distance but it didn’t overly bother us as you get used to it after a while. We would definitely return when in the area.
