We are thinking of going up this year, when have people found the best day to go?

We've just ordered a new Delta TI and thought we might go up and have a mooch around.

Being  a  gentleman  of  a "Certain  Age"  I  can  choose  to

go  whenever  I  want,  so  I  normally,  go  on  Club  Day  ==

'cos  that  permits  me  to  get  in  for  the  very  least  cost,

and  before  the  good  folks  manning  the  different  stands,

bars,  cheese  stalls  etc  have  become  a  little  bored

with  all  these  'vanners  trying  anything  to get  another

few  pennies  off  already heavily  discounted items   wink

Got  my  "February"  Club  mag  today  and  the  coupon

for  "Club  Day  Discount"  is  on  the  bottom  of  PAGE 9

it  reduces  an  Old  Goat's  Entry  Fee  to  £4:50  each  &

one  coupon  covers  two  "Seniors"  but  only  on  Feb  21st

"Club Day"  !!  ( It  reduces  the  fee  to  £5  each  for  'normal'

adults  !!  I  suppose it's  because  they  are  expected  to

spend  less  on  shopping  wink  !)

We normally go (IF we go) on a weekend day; purely because of traffic. Tried it once on a weekday a few years ago and never again.  Took us about 3.5 hours to do about 100 miles.  The traffic coming away from the NEC was horrendous, no apparent reason other than an enormous amount of traffic coupled with the fact it was rush-hour.

We certainly have David.  We made good use of it last summer, but we haven't used the sides/room yet.  Didn't use the canopy at all in the autumn.  I think our needs have changed a bit now. Now that Anna is in uni she doesn't come with us, so we haven't needed as much room, and whole we've been away in the late autumn, we haven't felt much like sitting out.  Certainly won't use it now until Easter, at the earliest - must get the sides in at some stage though.  laughing
