Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

"We want to encourage more explorers, adventurers and pioneers to join us, opening their eyes to new possibilities. We are a diverse Club and together we share a passion for the great outdoors."

Harvey Alexander, Director of Marketing

His vision, whilst laudable, is hardly compatible with a need to book months in advance.

More sites should be the number 1 aim not rebranding.

They could have also used this opportunity to add the word 'dogs'      laughing

It would be interesting to know if the site book has been sat there ready to go since last November. Or they have used the delay waiting for the NEC announcement to compile it later.

Aw come on. Rebranding is enormously exciting. tongue-out The last firm I worked for spent an awful lot of money on rebranding and we were all hugely excited about it and more than happy to forego pay rises to cover the costs.

I've definitely seen folk moaning about the absence of motorhome in the name so they'll be happy. Probably...

Me?  I'll probably carry on calling it the caravan club in the same way that I call the other club the camping club but I'm sure I'll be alone

Hi SteveL,

We delayed the delivery of the Handbook to reflect our new brand, they're already in the post, so you should all have your books by the first week of March

Motorhome is just a caravan with an engine so as motorhomers it didn't occur to us we weren't included 😉

Hi JVB,

The change in name and logo were based on your feedback and in consultation with your representatives on the Committee. Together, we’re embarking on a journey of investment in the future of our Club.

Stop the decline in sites on the network would be a start,so after a couple of years of spending thousands on changing the Colour of signs on sites,we are now going to spend even more changing them all again? +now it will be even more as everything needs changing
