Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

Motorhome is just a caravan with an engine so as motorhomers it didn't occur to us we weren't included 😉

Never occurred to me either Bakers. I still think of them as motorcaravans. What about the trailer tenters?

Campervanners as well as trailer tenters. Inclusivity has failed at the first step.

Lets hope the journey of investment is more inclusive but I'm guessing it will be new signs and improved MH points (which are definitely needed)

Hi SteveL,

We delayed the delivery of the Handbook to reflect our new brand, they're already in the post, so you should all have your books by the first week of March

I see that as a shocking inconvenience to members, Rochelle, especially at a time when people are struggling to search for CLs on this apology for a website.

I understood the legal terms were "trailer caravan" and "motor caravan" so using the word caravan embraced them both. Has the law changed?

So whilst you are watching this thread is there any chance that you can update the membership with regard to the current situation of Mildenhall Caravan Club Site? Maybe a new thread to explain to members the situation?

Over the last few years the CC seems to have spent lots of money updating the old darker green signs at a lot of sites, to new lighter green models. Presumably that is all wasted now as they will have to be changed yet again. The only ones who seem to benifit from these rebrandings are the companies who produce these signs and headed note paper etc.

As JayEss said earlier, It will always be either the Camping Club or the Caravan Club.... Few ever say The Camping and Caravanning Club, and I suspect that few will ever say The Caravan and Motorhome Club either.

Complete waste of money in my opinion. innocent
