Covid 19 and membership

As all sites and CC approved sites have been suspended for 3 months (30th June) are we to expect the CMHC to suspend all memberships for 3 months.? My membership is due in July so I'm a bit loathed to not be able to use it and go anywhere only to be hit with a renewal as the suspension is lifted.

I haven’t received any communication from NT, RSPB, NWT, SWT about extensions, refunds etc., not that I’m bothered as all these organisation still have ongoing costs and overheads to pay for

Glad to have pleased you but not sure why you have to make the rather snide reference to "your your pal"?

BTW, it's nothing to do with "not willing" it's simply not a requirement. Would you be prepared to pay, say, a £10 supplement on your membership fee to be a member of the forum? undecided

29 likes ! , hardly a landslide is it !!

Posted on 13/04/2020 20:26

An puzzling post HD? Why post that? And why three exclamation marks? I'm not sure why you are so upset?

well I think it is, what do 'likes' usually go up to? Hardly ever in double figures, usually if a good post then about 7 or 8, so I think that 29 is as I said unprecedented, I can't certainly remember such a high number.

When you consider how many regulars posters there are that (I mean how many can you count?) did they all like TW's post?

Anyway you look at it it does suggest a very high level of support for what he wrote. In fact I'll repose it:

Personally, I shall be quite happy if I survive the 3 months and the club is welcome to use that proportion of my membership fee to help maintain sites. Somebody has to pay the overheads and takings will be way down this year. I'm really not bothered about £13.50 in the current circumstances - it's the least of my concerns

Again making things up David see up thread, I don't know why you do it and really why use the term pal? I never would use such a term about anyone who agrees with anyone. I simple respect their post, can you not do the same? I should also point out that many times you have not answered questions from other posters, often with a rude snipe about the time being gone when  following teacher's requests.

Again it has nothing to do with not willing, the site is provided as an advert and for booking purposes, would you expect to pay to use a booking site?

And remember the site (CT and booking) is paid for by remember, one small part of many services that are costing the club money at this time. But again why you are so opposed is beyond me, at one/two nights on club sites a year the closure of club sites hardly affect you.

Mmm I am always puzzled why some people seek to criticise successful posts Husky

is there any thing in the T&C’s about how many exclamation marks I can use

You have used this T&C phrase a number of times in replies to posts, I'm not sure why at all. I can't see the point. No use as many exclamation marks as you like but more than one is totally unnecessary and usually shows annoyance.

I’m surprised you haven’t worked out a percentage for it

again why introduce a personal remark like that which sounds derogatory? Do I ever do that to you? (it also shows annoyance too when people make personal remarks like that?), also that doesn't make sense, a percentage for what? being upset?

no need to repost the post

Is there anything in the T&C that says I can't re-post Husky? (see what I did there?) also shows some annoyance from you possibly? Also are trying to be a mod now?

I read it the first time ,but didn’t agree with it ,but there is no unlike

That doesn't follow on from my re-posting at all. Perhaps you don't want it shared again but others might? If you didn't agree with it did you post to that effect, apologies if you did of course.

Anyway have a nice evening and have a drinksmile

Post edit: it's now up to 30, maybe a result of the re-post?

I just don’t get why you have to pick my posts apart , is it because I don’t agree with you and others on here ? Why not just accept that others have a different view
