Covid 19 and membership

As all sites and CC approved sites have been suspended for 3 months (30th June) are we to expect the CMHC to suspend all memberships for 3 months.? My membership is due in July so I'm a bit loathed to not be able to use it and go anywhere only to be hit with a renewal as the suspension is lifted.

"Why not just accept that others have a different view"

Interesting that you should trot out that old chestnut, HD. I've noticed that more often than not, those who use it are the least open to other's views. They just use it as a deflection technique. frown

I just don’t get why you have to pick my posts apart , is it because I don’t agree with you and others on here ? Why not just accept that others have a different view

Why not just accept that others have a different view

I thought it'd been adopted within the terms of CT that Sir is always right ..... 🙄😏

Again you use this picking posts apart a number of times when people reply to you and it is perplexing every time? I assure you it is nothing of the sort.

Well Husky you replied to me with certain points (I could say you were picking my post apart but I politely don't) and I replied to you regarding the points you made to me, that's what happens in a forum, it is not picking apart it is called having a discussion.

If you make a post on public forum you open your post to a reply. Sometimes people and I agree with you and have said so and sometimes not, you cannot expect anyone to simply agree with you and not reply if they have something to say, or do you?

I do accept that others have differing views to myself, I don't expect anyone to agree with me but I reply politely without personal remarks (which as above you sometime do not) and expect the same in return and the discussion unfolds. That what happens on a discussion forum.

I could ask why you make personal remarks like you do? is it because I do not agree with you?

No deflection, I often have a different view ,and I really don’t care what others think

Another personal remark, how many times do you use the Sir and always right remark? I think about more than five times now Why? I have explained it is not true on both counts but you keep on using it, I have no idea what you do for a living but would not dream of bringing it in to the discussion.

Why not discuss my points rationally rather than make remarks like that? Is that too much to ask?

With respect, maybe think about the implications of that statement,  HD! undecided

No one has to agree with my post, or any other post. We are all free to put opposing views and debate the issues but some folk, and Husky you are a prime example, seem to take great delight in making comments that appear snide, or at best a put down, rather than making a proper response or simply ignoring the post. Why do that?
