Hello, I am not very happy about not receiving any new club cards with my renewal, I have tried to order them on line but it keeps saying that the service is not available, I have tried telephoning, I keeps saying leave a message I have not received any reply, I have been in the Club for over 25 years, I am not happy with the way the club is going at the moment, not all of us have expensive phones with apps on!

I'm just reposting David's post from 29th December - and having tried the link it definitely works.

It brings up your mebership details etc. with an option to order a card. No error messages. Maybe use that link, rather than the one in the email.

That is the only link I have used.  I did not know that there was one in the email.  I just ried it and got;

The club web site is terribly prone to becoming cluttered. Perhaps worth clearing your browser history, logging in again and giving it another go.

I have tried several times to request physical cards Online, but link does not work.  I think it is a very underhand way of forcing people to have the digital card which they do NOT want.  Going on past experience it takes forever for them to answer the phone, then you have to go through all the security questions etc. which is understandable, but could be avoided if the link worked!

Although we have renewed our membership for another year and it starts on 1st Nov, we are seriously considering if we can cancel and get a full refund?  We have not used a CAMC site in years due to cost, we can get the same breakdown cover with Green Flag and plenty of commercial sites around offering better facilities at a lower price.  It will be sad to not be able to use CLs, but we are now wondering why we are paying £59 just for that facility as that will be the only thing we will really miss.

Morning

When I renewed last month the link for cards wouldn't work for me so I called membership services. The call was answered promptly and was informed that my 20 year window sticker would also be sent out. It took 5 minutes out of my day and the person was very friendly and professional.

If you wish to cancel your membership you'll have to call membership services to do it. As you mention your sub starts on 1st November I would assume that as long as you call before that you'd get a full refund.

Greenflag breakdown don't offer the same services as Mayday.

Actually Green Flag do now offer a very similar service to Mayday and Onward travel is included.  See https://www.greenflag.com/breakdown-cover/caravan-trailer

I did use that link, it did not work yesterday, and it does not work today either.

I get the message as posted by Surfer

Maybe it's something to do with devices. I used on a Windows 10 desktop. And have not tried on anything mobile.

But life's too short for me to worry about it.

I am using my i pad, which is fully updated, it seems to work for everything else I need to do on line.   Most odd that it should not work to order membership cards.   I would think quite a few members use an i pad.

Kj

When you click the link do you get through to the "My Membership" page? If you get that far what happens when you click "order your Membership Card"?

I don't have any Apple products now just a Windows PC and Laptop and an Android phone and tablet.

I have just followed the link and I get a different page to the one shown above. It shows both of our names and a box to tick if we want cards and then a submit button which I did not press as we already have new cards. I am using Windows 10 and Chrome.
