As this has been discussed many times and this post will be locked to stopped any comments.

Yes you can book a year in advance but this still stops people booking a a whole week (7 days) due to the weekend bookings. The problem is not going to go away until something is done about the weekend blocking. I suggest that the club takes a look at the amount of weekend bookings. I notice that there are discounts for midweek booking so this surely must show that CMC must be loosing out on revenue do to weekend blocking.

That’s factual and something many other posters have commented on over the years.

Apology accepted.

I suspect that TW is like me. Making weekend booking restricted would not be likely to affect me but I prefer it does not impact those who wish to weekend.

OH and I used the C&CC site at Bowness last year. Minimum booking 5 nights. Fine for us as we generally stay 5 nights on a site and move on. Out of bounds to weekenders

The site only has electric with hook up or grass without. Serviced pitch as far as I am aware means EHU with C&CC. In high  period and that is minimum 5 nights. In low and medium periods 3 nights

ET is correct on this, minimum booking period not only does it effect Braithwaite Fold, also along with their two Keswick's sites.

I don't know the site, but if as you say there are grass no EHU pitches the minimum booking period in low and mid season is 2 nights so it is not 'out of bounds' to weekenders, especially if one prepared to go without booking at last minute and ring on the day; nor is the minimum booking period a blanket 5 nights as your earlier post implied.

People who tour tend to prefer to be able to book prior to arrival, If you turn up at peak without booking and want EHU tough. If you don't want EHU you might have more luck
