Where can I find the CC WiFi charges.

Is it just me or is it a very difficult website to navigate to find anything ?

Are you looking at daily, weekly or annual charges? Last time I renewed annually (probably June/July this year) it was either £24 or £25 I recall.

The CC Wifi prices are not too expensive, ----------if it was allowing users to access a superfast Wifi system.

What we get for our money however on most CC sites can only be described as Dismal and Poor.

What I seem to get and a few others achieve seems very different K. Others say that it works fine for them too. As somebody who uses it happily, is away 120+ nights of the year and probably use some wifi on at least 70 of those nights it is excellent value at around 36p for each day's actual usage.

Sorry K I must have misunderstood. I thought your philosophy was that the CC should get as much out of members as they can. Don't recall you saying they had to provide a premium product to do so, just one that is in demand. As ET says plenty of us find the WiFi perfectly adequate and reasonable value for money. If they were only charging £25 a year for superfast unlimited WiFi as you suggest, now that certainly would be a bargain.

Write your comments here...Sorry Steve but I consider that the CC does provide a premium product. Their Insurance, Their breakdown service Their Travel service and their Camping sites.  Yes we pay a premium price for quality.  Obviously you have a different opinion.  The Wifi offering by Air Angel is IMO  not universally consistent throughout the network and therefore is not up to CC standards.

I only ever use the free access to the CC when on site, I have never and will never pay for what Air Angel has to offer. I find alternative web access when on holiday much more reliable and cost effective.

Cheers..........K

That might be your problem with wifi performance then. I use several other forums. I view many sites. Guess what? The only site that is typically slow to respond or hangs is the Caravan Club website. Difficult to assess the quality of the wifi based on that.

If that is your only usage of Wifi provided by the club you would not be in a position to know how the paid for wifi performs on other sites as the Club site can be dire even though the booking aspect has always appeared less so.

As mentioned in other threads on cc wifi, it can only be as good as the closeness of a decent BT line to carry the internet, and as is in the news almost on a daily basis,  there are many areas in the uk that are struggling to obtain any speeds that are anywhere near what most urban areas have,
