Haven't had a caravan for seven years but I do recall ETyres website having an informative page on caravan tyres which might be worth a look even if you don't buy from them. The best ones I had were made by Bridgestones. I assume you will replace both tyres?

Hi caravan tyres are different to car tyres and are based around van tyres with thicker walls. Just contact your local tyre fitters and they will tell you that 185/r14 is a standard tyre and has a profile of 80 the 104 you quote is the speed .if you are still worried take a  photo of all marks on your tyres and send them this info. Hope this helps. Mike

We recently had our 6 year old tyres replaced and asked the mobile engineer who serviced the van if he knew of anyone which he did and paid £114 for 2 new ones (Elddis Affinity 550).

The mobile tyre guy said ti buy budget range as they tend not to be instock like the more expensive options and so have a long life on the van.

May I suggest speaking to a local mobile service engineer who will heave contacts.

Caravan tyres are not car tyres, but commercial vehicle tyres. The maximum aspect ratio is 80% and this is the standard for commercial tyres. We replaced the tyres on our caravan when it was new with Goodyear Cargo 185R14C tyres.

I would say its a van tyre with aspect ratio of 80% and load index of 104 which would equate to 900kg
