Excuse for a week site

I feel very sorry for all those CL owners and those that have wanted to look for and book a CL. The "Essential Maintenance" has been in effect for over 24 hrs and I wonder in that time now many prospective CL clients have given up the idea of booking a CL and have found alternative sites? It would not be so bad had we, as customers, had been informed of the down time but just to shut down the site is treating us and CL owners with no respect. I have not yet tried to access the CL section and hopefully it will be accessible whereas the club bookIng site has  huge queue at the moment. The very worst website I have experienced.

Thank you brue and wherenext for the information on how to find CL info. I had expected to do this from "Book a campsite" link. Is this the only way to get the detail?

When you use the "Book a campsite" page to search for a CL either using the map or the search boxes and you bring up a CL, has anyone found out how you can then move to the detail about the CL i.e.directions, reviews etc. Its eluding me.

Many thanks to brue and wherenext for their help on finding CLs on the new website.

Works a treat if a little long winded but at least you can access all the info. 😊😊😊😊

YT, you have to drill down from Find a UK campsite > Certificated Locations > Select a country > select a county > select a town and that should give you a list, all very laborious. It badly needs a link from the summary brought up by the search facility to the site detail.

More CLs need to register on CL Bookings, easy to use and you get to see availability.  Much more user friendly

Entirely agree, the last two CLs I have used I have booked via this.

That’s the method we are using PD. Time consuming in terms of all the clicks, and you do need to have a basic geographical knowledge of UK to a certain extent, but it gets you the information you need.

It is most unsatisfactory. I also note if you want reviews and correct Club site information you have to do the same.
