Yeh! and now Mr Macron is saying the OAZ vaccine is not good for the over 65's, sour grapes, i would be happy if it only provided 50 pct protection at this stage, 50pct better than nothing laughing

I read somewhere also that Spain has shut their border with Portugal undecided

So being in the Euro club isn’t as helpful as once thought🤷🏻‍♂️

Having travelled and worked in the EU i had nothing against the EU per se, what ruined it for me was all the money it gobbled up that was not accounted for mainly by all those unelected people that flew around the world first class etc at our expense.

As a travel destination, we have not crossed it off our list, especially during Apr thru Jun, not this year, when it was great to get some early sunshine & warmth and visit relatives, but will consider our options re towing, our daughter has a holiday cottage in a small village, Santa Barbara Loha, just need to think what we do with the pooch undecided

The first real sign of how incompetent Brussels is by not protecting their citizens, with their usual blindfolded attitudes ,then they start throwing their toys out of their pram , and put up a smokescreen and blame everyone else for their very well known by us anyway of their shortcomings

Yea 100000 deaths,  we must be the envy of the worldundecided

Yes we are, apart from perhaps Israel we are Numero uno on the vaccination front, which, I guess as your protest at all that has gone  before, you will not be accepting laughing, but be careful to fulfil any of your travel plans you will need to be vaccinated laughing

The EU are clearly struggling with this issue and it won’t be judged their finest hour. However, for the UK the appointment of Kate Bingham was an inspired choice and, for now, the venture capitalist approach seems to be working. It’s unlikely that a body constituted like the EU could ever operate like that.

Still missing them tho’ 🥴

But then as stated by an EU covid scientist,, when toys were coming out of the Brussels pram   the figures do not really highlight, the quite unique circumstances of the population spread of the UK ,with high  mixed populations in very close, city/towns in a small area compared to other countries

Yes, comparisons don’t always make sense. Gibraltar only received its first batch a couple of weeks ago and already 1/3 of the population are vaccinated and they come out of lockdown next week having partially closed the border with Spain..

I think you are making excuses again. Your view that nothing can ever beat whatever the British do is becoming laughable.
