Little chance of a French holiday this summer I'm afraid. The French Government have just announced today ( 2 May) that their state of emergency will continue until 24 July and that anyone entering from another country must undergo 14 days quarentine. Our 9 year old grandson went swimming in lake Annecy this afternoon on a day out. Next week our daughter and family are off for a couple of nights to les Pecheurs at Frejus: the campsite is open, but they're renting a Mobil home. They live in France, obviously

We were going for just over three weeks in between Grandsons Gold DOE practice expedition and his last day at college all now not happening.
Was looking forward to seeing a new area and some , rather expensive looking, eating out!
