how does the LNA work ?? I have never had to think about it as I work till 7pm on Friday night can't go to a site as it will be too late so just go on Sat morns for 1 night ,however next month I have a week off work so on the Monday will be going to Clumber Park but not in the morning as I have a new job that I finish at 3.30 so will be going after I have done that as I've only just started it can't ask for time off yet but my other jobs I'm off ,I plan to get everything ready ,go do this job then come home pick up the dogs and food I need then set off ,as Clumber Park is only 45 mins from me I should be there by 4.30 BUT if there any hold ups on the A1 and I get there later than 5.30 what's the procedure ?????

LNA only kick in after 8pm gc, but make sure you state possible arrival time (6-8pm) when booking. Not sure if Clumber has one. Don't be tempted to pitch up anywhere other than on site, and don't leave anything lying around outside!

walled garden at Clumber is lovely, well worth a visit, used to be old C&CC site, you can still spot hook ups and taps if you look closely! Dog friendly as well. Enjoy!

As TDA says you are allowed on site Up to 2000 hrs, just let wardens know if you get held up and advise  if you are on your own

Agreed.  The LNA area is for those who have booked but arrive after 8pm.

If you arrive after the office closes but before 8pm you simply find the duty warden whose van will be marked with a sign unless there are instructions posted in the office window.

Hope you enjoy your stay there, GC. By the sounds of it you've got well sussed out for your trip. Your new job should let you get away for a couple of weekend nights from now on.

Great question!

Late night arrivals are for anyone arriving after 8:00PM with either prior arrangement with the site or if you are running late the wardens do ask that you contact them to let them know to make sure there is a space on the late night arrivals for you and they don't think you are a no show, or to make other arrangements.
If you have booked a touring pitch and you stay on the late night arrivals area the wardens will remove the cost of the pitch for the night you have stayed on the late night arrivals and you will only pay per person fees.
Also remember not all sites have the facility to allow late night arrivals.

Arriving before 8 you should be fine GC, Enjoy your stay at Clumber Park, its such a beautiful site.

How does it work If its a site that has locked facilities? Are you entitled to ask for the code?

I ask out of curiosity. We, so far, have not had to use a LNA. We are also a motorhome and generally travel with some water on board, but a caravan probably won't.

Also how does it work at Ferry Meadows, if as a thread states there are now barriers before you reach them? This is one site that we could need the LNA.

I probably should address this in an email but maybe we could have a reply here as staff have picked up the thread.  Also I glanced on FB this morning and notice individuals get replies from staff on the posts 😯

Hi Bakers2

When you phone up to let the warden know you will be late they will inform you at this stage of any codes you may need for the facilities.

Ferry Meadows is a site that doesn't have the late night facilities, I am not aware of any site that has a barrier system before you get on the site that has this facility however if there is you will also be given access to this by the warden when you call them.

Hope this helps

Dean

Thanks for your reply. I thought I recalled 3 LNAS on the left as you pull towards the office on FM maybe I'm mistaken? Not been there for a while.
