As we cannot go to Cornwall at the moment.... I was going to order some Philps Pasties on line for delivery but they are closed because of ‘some virus or other’ that’s going about at the moment!

Can anyone recommend any other supplier of Cornish Pasties who I can order online from, for delivery to Staffordshire ?

Evening

So, been drifting around Cornwall for a good few years now and every year there's a quest to find a good local pasty. This year has it's challengessurprised and we're staying local. We've found a fantastic pasty shop in our local town, it's called Sarah's Pasties in Looe. They will deliver for a minimum order (no problem with me!!wink). They will also do postal orders, check out their website.

Nah, that was tin miners in Cornwall. The crust was the handle and was thrown away after eating the two course savoury and sweet filling as obviously it was filthy and coated in arsenic from being held in a miner's hands. That is why the genuine Cornish pasty is crimped along the side and not on top.

This has just solved a dilemma for us. Our veggie box has a swede in it,  and (cheating I know) but we have some pastry in freezer. I think I might get OH on the case tomorrow!😁

Have you been to Anne’s Pasty Shop in Lizard? Superb. Obviously when out and about becomes the norm again.👍
