As we cannot go to Cornwall at the moment.... I was going to order some Philps Pasties on line for delivery but they are closed because of ‘some virus or other’ that’s going about at the moment!

Can anyone recommend any other supplier of Cornish Pasties who I can order online from, for delivery to Staffordshire ?

Without Googling for answer JV, do you know how you can tell a classic tractor from Cornwall?

We have the original "pasty"in our area ,did you know they did not originate in Cornwallcool

Ours have savoury one end and sweet the other as in the real farm workers pastie mealwink

How do you know which end to start?

I watched a programme about Ginsters last week , and they mince all the meat and ingredients together!, that’s not a proper pasty surprised

Years ago I had 2 ladies working for me, one from Cornwall and the other from Sandy in Bedfordshire.  From time to time they used to bring in their homemade pasties.  If I’m really honest about the the clanger had the edge

It's the pastry that counts, it has to be made from strong bread flour otherwise the pasty will fall apart, down the mine, in the field or on the sea front...wink
