Posted on 21/12/2020 14:03 by LLMI doubt that any viruses specifically target hosts that don't care if they get it or not. Would it, or they, really be that choosy?

Thanks Meth👍🏻. It’s true specificity wasn’t mentioned. The point I was making was-if a person doesn’t take any precautions ie mask, hand washing/gel & social distancing then the virus(more so the mutated virus) will happily exploit that advantage. Hope this is more easily understood👍🏻

Some people just don't get it, do they? My better half was talking on the phone to her friend today about Christmas. Her friend has said that they are carrying on with the plans that they have already made. It's too late to alter anything she said.
So on Wednesday her son in law, (whose work causes him to mix with a lot of people) is driving 190 miles to Northumberland to pick up his mother and drive back down on Christmas eve. She's staying with him and his wife "for a few days". Also on Wednesday my wife's friend's son is driving 50 miles over from Lincoln and staying with his parents "for a few days". On Christmas day they are all meeting at daughter and son in law's house for lunch and late afternoon buffet. "We're all well so we don't think it will be a problem. None of us have got Covid".
These are supposed to be well educated people who seem to have left all their brain cells somewhere. Words fail me.
