Kinda surprised there doesn’t appear to be a thread on this.

I’ve always been a big music fan, a major part in my life. With all that’s going on, maybe folks out there have the same passion and would like to share it? If this thread takes off, we will get a ‘feel’ of what others like, and can make suggestions? As for my tastes, I guess they could be described generally as rock music, blues, folk and some classical. I was thinking that if we could limit it to the more obscure/less well-known tunes? No Beatles, ABBA, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers etc, we’ve all heard them already.

Was talking to our daughter, who's a really keen concert attendee, and she recommended the new Kings of Leon album, and said that I should also listen to The Rag and Bone Man. Listened to the latter last night and although it sounded a mixture of blues, jazz and a bit of rap I couldn't get into his style.

Of those that I’ve heard (not much), I quite like Rag ‘N Bone man.

A rather nice ditty performed by Neil Young, in ‘71...

I’m something of a fan of the ‘Fish’ era Marillion (first three albums). There are a host of tunes that I could post, but opted for this. Check out the guitar playing (Steve Rothery)...
