How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

Shush now, R & R surprised, There be a couple of footy fans on 'ere wot am none too chuffed at present ( !! ) and your gloating might just ruin their Sunday pre-lunch drinkies  innocent.  Thinking of that, I see Crewe Alex the Mighty, are due to visit and ruin some Bristolian team's next Saturday evening  celebrations undecided, Now that might cause some flutterings in a certain Roving Dovecote down that way smile

May I be permitted a little gloat now, Brian? After all, it's 55 years since City last won a league titlesmile

Well come on now, R & R, I haven't seen your pleasant bit of gloating anywhere,  Don't keep me in suspenders any longer ! { As in "Tips for making  Caravanning and Touring Cheaper  embarassed }

I’m not gloating Brian I’m just glad to see the back of this season. Unfortunately I think it’ll be more of the same next season unless we get a good number of new players

Er, er, Roger, It's not my normal practice to criticise fellow footy fans but shouldn't that read :-- Unless we get a number of new good players  undecided

Not too sure if we are permitted to watch Ladies / Women sport these days, Pliers !  Was watching England v France at Rugby Union -- t'was very enjoyable . That is until the power failed & the floodlights went out.frown

Now I'm left wondering if that caused some continental fishermen and/or politicians to get strange ideas about fair play undecided

Typical of the French Brian.

If they don't get their own way they pull the plug on the electricity. Just ask Jersey.laughing

I think they'll give City some problems, not just in the final but next year in the PL. I can see them being your main rivals.
