Bentley is now 8 months old and has decided that rather rest up inside his cage he is better positioned on top of his cage to keep an eye on things

Just to make you aware. Our dog, a English Pointer got bitten by an Adder a couple of days ago while on his early walk.  He collapsed and my OH had to carry him for 45mins to get to a road, a lovely lady who was grooming her horse took him to the vets. I had to make a dash to another vet to get the antibody as our vet didn't carry it re the cost, £492.00, all very time consuming and time was crucial. Things were quite serious, his face and chest swelled so much that we had to take him to another vet for treatment overnight, they were worried his throat and breathing would become compromised. Long story short...he is home now, not life threatening anymore but still very lethargic and feeling very sorry for himself. He's a rescue dog from Greece and we have only had him for about 7 months, he has changed so much since we have had him and I was really upset to leave him overnight as I didn't want him to think he had been dumped again. It's been a stressful couple of days...I think I'll get a budgie next time

Adders in long grass can certainly be a problem. It’s fairly common on the cliff tops adjacent to the club's Godrevy site.

In the USA if you want to register your dog with the American Kennel club you cannot have more than 37 dogs with the same name per breed! In the whole of the USA!
