Who do you insure with?

Anyone to avoid?

Any good experiences with making claims?

Just to follow on from R&R’s tale, I too use NFU for the MH and car - their policies include basic breakdown cover. I had superb service from them when someone drove into my car and my premium didn’t increase either. Whether they insure touring caravans, is another matter.

They do - TW - but only in conjunction with house insurance - for some strange reason. I did enquire with them nearly five years ago when we were buying our Knaus but they wanted £1200, then,  for the two policies - which despite what I have said above, was just a step too far!

They wanted silly money too to insure our house (park home) which is rather a specialised area of insurance. It was at least twice that of our current insurer. For motor insurance, though, I’m well impressed.

Sorry, this is getting away from the topic.

AndyJF, do SAGA offer you a three year fixed price deal. I know it was available on our house insurance a few years ago but I'm unsure if it offered on other types of insurance.

Didn't see that deal on the site. But the premium was extremely reasonable, so I'm happy with it.

I have been with SAGA a number of years they offer good value and interest free monthly installments. We had a claim for a new front window £1200 no quibbles and a rapid payout. telephone support is also excellent.
