Well, I've just had the email saying we have to register with the nhs test and trace app when arriving on site. As a couple we own standard old school phones which don't have the app facility so are we now discriminated against and can't enjoy our hobby?

I know it's easy to criticise with hindsight, but I'm not sure this tracking app is turning out to be as good as the Government thought it would be. I personally have heard of several people having turned it off because of false positive notifications.  I understand that Jaguar Land Rover workers have been asked to switch it off because of false positive notifications, causing workers to self isolate when it wasn't  necessary. Was it worth the money being spent on it?

C, then again I’ve talked to many folk, read of many folk & watched many folk on TV being interviewed all totally nonplussed at the massive spike in covid-19 positive people in this country🤷🏻‍♂️. They all say the same-that they hardly see anyone in masks, social distancing or taking any precautions at all. I’m thinking that there is the issue, ‘covid fatigue’ the majority have just given up even trying. After visiting Hull City Centre a few days ago I have decided not to go for a while now. The city was rammed with folk yet I saw maybe a dozen folk wearing masks out of what must have been thousands. There’s the problem-crying false positive is just one of the excuses☹️

I see that USA have hit a quarter of a million deaths with no appreciable controls or restrictions. We, with our tiers, lockdowns, tracing etc have a death toll that, based on population, is about the same. Let's hope these vaccines get us out of this mess.

ASDA staff have also been asked to turn it off while at work too ... 🤷‍♂️

There was an news slot from Hull Hospital in the last couple of days ,and two that were interviewed who were really suffering with the virus both early thirties, admitted  that they did not realise how seriously they would be affected and had not in the past taken precausions as they were askedundecided

it seems we down here (apart form it seems UNI students) seem to be taking more notice as infection rates are much lower surprised

In your little bit of the world JV you will be employing sense, really old folk realise just how bad it is👍🏻. It takes a lot to accept your freedoms are halted for your own good. The whole country is suffering from folk who just don’t get it☹️

We must have about the highest population of "vunerable" people in the UK , If that is your synopsis undecided

the last few days covid positives have been going down in our areasmile

I'm sure there is a lot more to infection rates than merely 'taking notice' in a north/south divide

No synopsis JV it was a reply👍🏻.  I doubt very much if vulnerable folk are herded into a particular area of the UK🤷🏻‍♂️. When a person knows- being infected with covid-19 will most probably kill them it helps to focus the mind, whereas the young & the hard of thinking believe they are invulnerable, their approach is more laissez faire.
