Posted on 28/03/2024 19:35 by TinwheelerAlways but always, EM, when you write a longish post, copy it so all is not lost. Then, when you get a second chance, you only need paste to recreate your post.

I agree, and it is what I try to remember to do it, TW, but in this day and age it should not be required, should it?!
What really annoys me is the closing down for essential maintenance at 22:00 without any warnings, especially after Rowena assured us last year, (or was it the year before?) that she would forewarn us when it was likely to happen. How long did that last, a couple of months perhaps!!

I can't access the "What are you all up to" post just now on either my Kindle or my i-phone whichever way I try to get in!! I keep getting the Server Error message. The last post that is showing is one by Tda at 22:33 yesterday but I can't even use that one to get in!

Just shows how much the so called DG cares about the membership who use the forum or the portrayal of the club to prospective new members. After 48 years membership if the there is no improvement by September then I am out and will no longer contribute to his salary.

YES, this fault plus others have been going on long enough and had plenty of notifications to the relevant department. Either the DG is kept in the dark of the problem or the department and the DG just brush it under the carpet and think members will give up, well not me.
