Basic site, which is exactly what we wanted. We spent two nights here. Very warm welcome by owner who was very helpful and took the time for a chat and to explain everything we wanted to know. There is a lovely pub within walking distance (just). The guinea fowl were lovely and it was great to see a number of geese and ducks round the pond just outside the gates of the property. The birds were noisy on occasions on our first night. We put this down to the possible presence of a fox. The second night was silent. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again if in the area. Close to some National Trust properties.
