We stayed at 216 Lane End to visit Blenheim Palace and Oxford. Both are easily accessed by frequent buses from just outside the site. The site itself is very pleasant with pitches overlooking fields and a small orchard. Apart from the sound of a train every so often and the occassional jet engine from Oxford Airport it was very peaceful. Don't let these noise sources put you off they are not intrusive and unlike a main road are not continuous. The electric hookups were fine as were the water and waste disposal facilities. The owner was friendly when he came to collect the pitch fee and was happy to have a short chat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will visit again if we are in the area.
