Beautiful, well kept CL with friendly, helpful hosts.

There aren't too many places where you can look out of your motorhome window and see a herd of alpacas! But at Abbots View that's exactly what we discovered. It is a beautiful CL, clean, quiet and peaceful. Extremely well kept with lovely views over the surrounding area. There are some shared onsite toilets, which were immaculate. Lots of places to visit in the area, including plenty of National Trust houses. On our arrival James gave us a small pack of useful local information. Definitely a CL we would like to revisit.

Wonderful site!

We loved our stay at Abbotts View! We had a very warm welcome from our host Jo who came to greet us upon arrival, and gave us lot of information about the animals and site as well as a key fob for the electric gate (it feels very safe and secure here). The campsite is SO peaceful, with just the occasional alpaca sneeze punctuating the quiet! The camping area is very spacious, level and felt private, and there is a cafe and sweet alpaca-themed gift shop as well as sparkling clean toilets for campers to use. It was lovely to walk down the track and see the pigs, goats, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and alpacas - a truly unique and well-thought-out site, with extremely friendly and thoughtful hosts. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic place

What a wonderful weekend we had at this site. Excellent communication, booking and welcome. The alpacas are in the fields next to the site and are a great source of entertainment. There is the opportunity to go on an alpaca walk - details are on the farm website. There are pubs within walking distance; we received a warm welcome at the Unicorn in Cublington. The pitches are flat and spacious with EHU. There are 2 clean toilets for campsite use. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Perfect site for us.

Such a pleasure to find a site that suited us perfectly. The directions Jo and James provided were spot on. They made us so welcome and were always around if you needed and help or advice. The pitches are spacious and flat with great views all around. A peaceful site with no road noise. The toilets including a disabled one were always spotlessly clean. Your unit is safe as the site electric gates operated by a fob. Watching the ducks being let out each morning and seeing the alpacas close up was a treat. We hope to return to this CL soon.

Just wonderful.

Our favourite local site in Buckinghamshire. Very quiet. View the very informative website for further information. Grass pitches and well spaced out and as others have said, be aware of the 6amp EHU and eco requirements. Plenty of quiet cycle routes, footpaths in abundance and a local pub 1 mile walk/ride from site. Buses to Aylesbury where you could hop on a train to London. Whilst there why not take an Alpaca for a walk but check availability before your stay. We will definitely be returning regularly from now on. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this place is for you. Thanks once again James and Jo for a lovely stay.

Wonderful site

We took our new caravan on it's first outing here because it is near to home and easy to get to. Well what a lovely site, well laid out with plenty of space, very quiet and peaceful. The owners James and Jo couldn't be more friendly or communicative and helpful. You will be next to fields of alpacas, there's a lot of wild life about too. We saw hares, red deer, muntjac, barn owl, kites, buzzards, rabbits.....only there for three nights. Very wet morning on leaving making the grass a bit slippery and difficult to easily get out and James appears, no problem I can tow you out or you can stay till it clears up. Then he helped push the caravan up the very slight incline and we got off fine, no drama. We will be back. Oh you will need to use special eco toilet chems, if you don't have them no problem, James has a ready supply to purchase, again no drama. (get the eucalyptus smelling one it really does smell nice).

An outstanding cl with welcoming, friendly hosts.

5th visit. Still excellent. Pitches well laid out, booking, arrival and departure process very well organised. Be mindful of the eco requirements as the visitor information explains clearly. Plenty of pleasant walks from the site and a few pubs within a reasonable distance, the closest one in Cublington a half hour walk. All being well, we’ll be back.

Peace and tranquility

From booking on line to arrival everything couldn't be better. We had an extremely peaceful time here at Abbotts View, no road noise just bird song. The Alpacas are fascinating to watch. To us this is exactly what a CL should be. Please be aware this is an Eco farm. We thought we had the correct toilet fluid, but no we were wrong, but James came to the rescue, so if you are unsure do check. We visited Ascott NT on our bikes, well worth the visit. Recommend the house as well as the garden. Superb CL, please don't change a thing. We will be returning. Thanks for a lovely stay Jo and James.

Charming and super-peaceful CL

Stayed here for one night only as a little birthday surprise and were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather which turned into a gorgeous sunset. This is a charming little CL with a variety of animals to look at including ducks, pigs, guinea pigs and, of course, the quirky Alpacas! It was so peaceful and beautiful there - the perfect place for a complete get-away yet just 15 mins from Milton Keynes. Definitely hope to return for more peace and quiet! Also, two nice, clean loos which is so handy for us camper-vanners!
