What a gem and right on our doorstep

Just come home after spending a really lovely May BH weekend at Abbotts View, it is only a few miles from home but so picturesque and peaceful we felt like we were miles away. We arrived Saturday mid-morning and despite being very busy with a group about take some of the Alpacas for a walk made us feel very welcome. When we arrived Jo directed us to where our pitch was and then came back with a welcome sheet with lots of info for places to visit and eat with a key fob for the gate so as to allow access when locked, really nice touch for people new to the area. James & Jo the owners made us feel very welcome and took time to talk to us at different times over the weekend. It was a delight to watch the Alpacas they were so amusing we were invited to join a group who were about to feed them. Took some delightful pictures of the Alpacas. Not a problem for son & family to visit on Sunday morning a small donation appreciated as this is a working small holding not a public paying viewing animal farm all visits by the public are pre-booked which is for the walking of Alpacas. There are pygmy goats, pigs, rabbits, sheep but it is definitely the Alpacas taking the main stage. The CL paddock was a good layout and nicely placed for watching the antics of the Alpacas. There were toilets on site which were exceptionally clean. As we are local to the area we stayed on site all weekend as wanted to recharge our batteries with a peaceful relaxing chill, it was that and more, definitely will be on our list to return.

Lovely Stay at a lovely site!

We have recently returned from an 8 night stay at Abbotts View. A great location and very friendly owners. It was lovely to look out on all the animals, the Alpacas are very assuming and the younger ones seemed to have a mad run about in the evening which was lovely to see. Jo, James and their girls work very hard with someone always doing something on the farm, but not a disturbance at all. It is well set-up with recycling and waste areas are close to the Caravan field and very easy to use. Perfect TV signal - best we've ever had according to my husband but we didn't watch TV once!! We visited lots of places locally but didn't need to travel for more than 30 mins. Would def stay again if we are in that area.

Best Kept Secret in Bucks!

Absolutely fabulous!! A warm welcome from the owners James and Jo at the beginning of our two week holiday in June, at this secluded CL. just a short drive from Aylesbury. A great deal of thought has gone into providing Members with a great holiday experience. A large, flat, well maintained field with facilities close at hand. Views are tremendous, as a small "working farm" we were invited to see up close, rare breed sheep, goats and pigs. The stars of the show however, were the alpacas....nearly 40 in total, beautiful creatures with a very curious nature, the TV, never went on, instead we spent each evening watching Alpaca TV!!! This is as close as it gets to Sping Watch, for real. Highly recommend a visit here. Thankyou so much to James, Jo, Amy, Jess and Rosie, we feel like we are extended Family members to Abbotts View Alpacas. See you all again soon.

Lovely and peaceful

First time at this cl site. This is such a lovely place to stay, and Jo and James who run this are very friendly and welcoming. The farm has so many animals especially the alpacas, and are fascinating to watch whilst sitting in your motor home or caravan. The field is very flat with electric hook ups, which is ideal. We stayed two nights and was ideal as there are lots of places to go to such as Bletchley Park and quite a few NT places. We would definitely stay there again.

Tranquil

If you want tranquility then this is the spot. Wonderful views across to Dunstable downs and the paddocks around have Alpacas, horses, sheep, goats, pigs etc that are fascinating to watch. The owners Jo & James are very friendly and take great pride in their small farm. Lots of NT properties within easy reach. The tulips at this time of the year are stunning. Visited: April 2017

Charming and plenty to see

Excellent directions, and a very nice welcome. A large flat field, with good views, and well organised water, chemical disposal etc. Also allowed to use the farm toilets, spotless. The best, for us, was watching all the animals, very well cared for, in fact the rabbits and guinea pigs live in luxury!  Plenty of places to visit in the area, highly recommend.
