A lovely grass site set next to the canal. Owner greeted us straight away, showing us the facilities of chemical disposal and drinking water. Waste water could be poured into the hedge row. There are slabs set into the grass to stop you sinking into the grass. The site is in a fantastic location for walking and trying local ales, food. We counted 7 pubs many serving food and 3 restaurants as well as takeaways all within walking distance. There are lots of comings and goings during the day of canal boat owners, which are nice to watch, but very quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
