Standish court farm

We had a lovely stay at Standish, you can hear noise from motorway, but it's not a big problem. Dog walking around the site is good, plenty of wildlife even spotted deer on 2 mornings. Best local pub for real ale & food is the Beacon & railway hotel 2.5 miles away in Haresfield. Owners are very helpful, fresh bantam eggs available from them. Frampton, Nailsworth & Tetbury well worth visiting.

Site with no sight/level access

Long grass, and very rough "road" surface through farmyard. There is a large manure compound adjoining the pitches. As stated on a previous review, beware the large stones on the "motorway" (i.e. not Stonehouse) side of the drive, and the gap at the entrance between the road and the concrete drive

Room without a view

Main access very easy but tight going down through gate by stables for large outfits then easy again. Good size pitching area with hook ups, hard standings on concrete apron,2 hook up available. Very little view from site, barns and concrete panels of storage area.Quit a lot of road noise from motorway when wind in west Ground was very wet on my stay, surface muddy but beneath was firm. easy access to Gloucester and other Towns . Exit back onto main road made difficult by large stones on left so had to go out onto other side of road to complete turn .
