Peaceful site

What's not to like? A pitch under and between trees. Yes, it's got that. A pitch far from others. Yes, its got that. A pitch quite close to the (only) water tap and facilities. Yes, its got that. Childrens playground. No. Clubhouse. No. Constricted pitches. No. All good so far then. Toilet and shower facilities. Sparkling, and with heaters for the cooler months :-) Site owners. Unobtrusive, but very helpful when asked (I had a puncture on my car and Mike was kind enough to lend me his heavy duty jack, which was better than the one I had) Wildlife: lots on site, rabbits, birds, and the wandering chickens of course. Downsides to the site: No dogs allowed - but my dog is buried in our garden now, so not an issue at the moment for us. And not much else worth mentioning! Whilst you're there, take a walk in Moccas Hill Wood, (Google it) just down the road from the site. You can have a little circular walk around the wood, or a couple of hours trek on easy paths around the perimeter, and along the ridge line with glorious views - you may even see your caravan!
